Roche NimbleGen SeqCap EZ
Caliper Life Sciences and Roche NimbleGen have developed and optimized automated protocols for the SeqCap EZ solution-based capture method for the Sciclone NGS Workstation, and also utilize the LabChip GX for library quantification and quality control. The methods are compatible with both SeqCap EZ Exome and SeqCap EZ Choice and allow users to generate up to 288 enriched libraries per week.
SeqCap EZ is a liquid-based enrichment technology, which enables the targeted capture and subsequent sequencing of a subset of genes or whole exome. SeqCap EZ is compatible with Illumina, 454, and SOLiD sequencing chemistries.
SeqCap EZ Exome Libraries enable enrichment of the whole exome and are offered in three configurations:
- SeqCap EZ Exome LR is optimized for long read sequencing with the 454 Sequencing System
- SeqCap EZ Human Exome Library v2.0 sets a new standard for exome sequencing by giving you the power to capture over 30,000 genes and sequence them on a single lane
- SeqCap EZ Exome SR is optimized for short read sequencing
SeqCap EZ Choice Libraries enable enrichment of customer regions of interest and are offered in two configurations:
- SeqCap EZ Choice Library can capture up to 7Mb custom regions with a single design
- SeqCap EZ Choice XL Library can capture up to 50Mb custom regions with a single design. Both libraries are available in 6 different reaction sizes
