General SEP II
The GenSEPII profile contains the assays used to screen a diverse set of 2,300 compounds and generate CDAS Side Effect Database - SED™ a complete database of drug/chemicals pharmacology profiles. SED™ is routinely being used to assist with prediction of chemicals adverse effects, off-target effects and drug pre-purposing/repositioning.
GenSEP II incorporates a broad array of well characterized and validated in vitro assays which are important mediators of drug side effects or drug actions. Assay categories include GPCRs, Voltage-Gated Ion Channels, Ligand-Gated Ion Channels, Neurotransmitter transporters, Nuclear Receptors and Selected Enzymes. CDAS quality assurance and control processes for assays development, improvements and screens guarantee exceptional data quality to our customers. A Short Assay Protocol (SAP) for each assay can be found online for complete information on assay format, components, pharmacology of reference drugs and target literature information.
Add a Metobolic assay panel of the most relevant CYP450 assays to GenSEP II. Select among our CYP Basic (6 targets), CYP Regulatory (17 targets) or CYP Explorer (31 targets) panels.
