pS2-luc
Overview
pS2-luc BP (P/N 119292) Breeding Pair or pS2-luc (P/N 119314) Individual Animal
Light producing animal model (LPTA®) FVB/N-Tg(pS2/TFF1-luc)-Xen, commonly called pS2-luc, carries a 2.0 kb human pS2/TFF1 promoter and modified firefly luciferase cDNA (Promega pGL-3). Basal expression of the reporter was high in stomach. The pS2/TFF1 protein works as a protective molecule in mucin production and in the protection and repair of the GI tract. pS2 gene expression increases in a variety of cancers, including breast, gastric and intestinal, and is inducible in gastric and intestinal damage models such as gastric ulcers and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). This LPTA® animal model is available from Xenogen Biosciences, Cranbury, New Jersey, USA.| Model: | Endocrine Disruptor Model |
