IκBα-luc
Overview
IκBα-luc BP (P/N 119288) Breeding Pair or κBα-luc (P/N 119310) Individual Animal
Light producing animal model (LPTA®) BALB/C-Tg(IκBα-luc)-Xen, commonly called IκBα-luc, carries a transgene containing an 11 kb murine IκBα promoter and modified firefly luciferase cDNA (Promega pGL-3). Basal expression of the reporter was observed throughout the whole body. The reporter is inducible during inflammatory processes triggered by LPS and TNF α. This LPTA® animal model is available from Xenogen Biosciences, Cranbury, New Jersey, USA.| Model: | Inflammatory Model |

Applications
The IκBα-luc LPTA® animal model is useful in studying sepsis, arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease, apoptosis, tumor development, transcriptional regulation of IκBα-luc gene and other genes responsive to NFκ B, and the treatment of inflammatory diseases and cancer.
