IL2-luc BP
Overview
IL2-luc BP (P/N 119289) Breeding Pair or IL2-luc (P/N 119311) Individual Animal
Light producing animal model (LPTA®) CD1-Tg(IL2-luc)-Xen, commonly called IL2-luc, carries a transgene containing a 10.7 kb murine IL-2 gene, a human ß-globin intron 2, and modified firefly luciferase cDNA (Promega pGL-3), and a 0.28 kb 3' end UTR of the IL-2 gene. Basal expression of the reporter was highest in males in testes, and low in male and female in the abdominal region. The reporter is inducible by LPS and oxazolone. This LPTA® animal model is available from Xenogen Biosciences, Cranbury, New Jersey, USA.| Model: | Inflammatory Model |

Applications
The IL2-luc LPTA® animal model is useful in studying IL-2 gene regulation, inflammatory diseases, and cancer.
