NFκB-luc
Overview
NFκB-luc BP (P/N 119291) Breeding Pair or NFκB-luc (P/N 119313) Individual Animal
Light producing animal model (LPTA®) BALB/C-Tg(NFκB-RE-luc)-Xen, commonly called NFκB-RE-luc, carries a transgene containing 6 NFκB responsive elements (RE) from the CMVa (immediate early) promoter placed upstream of a basal SV40 promoter, and modified firefly luciferase cDNA (Promega pGL-3). Basal expression of the reporter was observed in the whole body. The reporter is inducible by LPS and TNFκ. This LPTA® animal model is available from Xenogen Biosciences, Cranbury, New Jersey, USA.| Model: | Inflammatory Model |

Applications
The NFκB-RE-luc LPTA® animal model is useful in studying sepsis, arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease, apoptosis, tumor development, NFκB gene regulation, and the treatment of inflammatory diseases and cancer.
