Introducing Bioware Ultra cell lines using the Enhanced luc2  Vector

Caliper Life Sciences is pleased to introduce its newest set of Light producing tumor cell lines using the luc2 vector. These cell lines are significantly brighter than the one’s created with traditional methods, allowing for more sensitive non-invasive detection of cells in vivo.  

Bioware Ultra cell lines used in conjunction with IVIS® Imaging Systems offer unique opportunities to measure tumor growth and metastasis in a variety of models

• Visualize ONE cell, non invasively in vivo
• Detect early tumor behavior and micrometastases
• Measure tumor growth before tumors are palpable
• Ideal for studying orthotopic tumors in mice
• Follow responses to therapeutic treatments non-invasively in longitudinal studies using the same cohorts of mice

Caliper’s biophotonic imaging technology has been optimized for highest sensitivity detection in orthotopic and spontaneous tumor models.  Caliper’s oncology models can be used to evaluate anti-cancer therapies during and beyond the course of treatment in vivo.

• All Bioware Ultra cell lines from Caliper Life Sciences meet the highest standards and are confirmed to be pathogen free. The in vitro growth rate of these cell lines is similar to their parental cell lines and the stability of luciferase expression is tested for a minimum of 4 weeks
