Caliper currently manufactures in excess of 500,000 glass and fused silica chips per year utilizing its robust, well-characterized processes at its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Mountain View, CA.  Caliper’s engineering team has in excess of 75 years of combined process development experience in Silicon Valley, and its R&D Microfluidics Scientists are second to none.

Caliper Life Sciences' microfluidic lab-on-a-chip technology represents a significant advancement in laboratory experimentation. Every chip contains networks of miniaturized, microfabricated channels through which fluids and chemicals are moved to perform experiments. Fluid movement can be controlled via pressure and/or voltage, and can address fluid volumes as small as 10 nanoliters with outstanding accuracy.
