Target Audience:
This course stresses a hands on approach to provide the student with concepts and techniques to develop and execute automated liquid handling applications for the Sciclone ALH 3000 using Caliper Life Sciences Maestro Software. This course is appropriate for both Maestro software users and Sciclone ALH 3000 software users.

Method development using Low Level Instructions
Using Method Control Instructions
Executing Sciclone liquid handling applications with the Maestro run time interface
Basic Error Recovery & Troubleshooting techniques
Using user defined Variables, Parameters, and Timers
Overview of Liquid Class optimization using the Sciclone Liquid Class Optimization software
Basic preventive maintenance and care of the Sciclone ALH 3000 system
