WORKING WITH YOUR SCICLONE ALH 3000 IN AN INTEGRATED SYSTEM (P/N 104235)
This course stresses a hands on approach to provide the student with concepts and techniques to develop and execute automated liquid handling applications for the Sciclone ALH 3000 as an integrated instrument using Caliper Life Sciences iLink PRO Automation Control Software and the Twister II Microplate Handler. Students will have the opportunity to learn about the integration paradigm for integrating various instruments to develop, schedule, execute, and monitor methods using the iLink Pro automation control software. Topics such as liquid class optimization using the Sciclone ALH 3000 and data handling using the iLink PRO will also be discussed during the course.
Target Audience:
This course is designed for students who plan to develop and execute automated liquid handling applications using the Sciclone ALH 3000 integrated with other instruments and Caliper Life Sciences Automation Control Software environment.
Day 1 Learning Objectives: Working With Your iLink Pro Software and Twister II Robot
This section provides an introduction to using Caliper Life Sciences powerful iLink Pro Automation Control Software and the Twister II Robot. The section includes integration concepts and techniques using the Caliper Life Sciences Twister II Robot. Twister II topics include a hardware and software overview teaching positions, and basic error recovery and troubleshooting techniques.
